The 100th day of school is always a big deal in our kindergarten/TK classrooms! It all begins 2 weeks prior with this Family Project assignment letter. See our pervious post for a link to the file.
Our 5 classes use this opportunity to mix students and get a little team teaching going on! The students enjoy visiting different classrooms and interacting with different teachers and parent volunteers. The rotation page below explains the logistics of that rotation.
To the left you can see the day rotation schedule that Cindy prepared for the grade. We have 5 kindergarten/transitional kindergarten classroom with approximately 25 students in each. Because of time constraint, we decided to divine the group into 4 groups. This made for four groups of about 30 students in each. Each group had at least two adults helping to run activities.
