So what is it about us women and the relationships we build? The five of us in this picture are not just co-workers. We work together, we celebrate together, we greet each other during our most "unflattering" moments of the day (usually before the second cup o' joe, before 7:30 am, when most humans are just waking up), we complain about educational bureaucracy, we celebrate union solidarity, we cry on each others' shoulders and share our melting points, we "mother" each others' children,...we create a SISTERHOOD. This is what strong, confident women do. And in this sisterhood we push each other to be better by doing better. We will miss our Ms. K and understand that she needs to move on to do her "bigger and better." And we look forward to welcoming (and indoctrinating) our next kindergarten companion because we know that TOGETHER we can make great things happen. Here's to sisterhood/teacherhood!!!
